Aymeric Laporte, a former player for Manchester City, has restated his contentment in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr. This comes after an interview was released that implied the Spanish player was unhappy in the kingdom after his transfer during the summer.
The 29-year-old attributed the misinterpretation of his remarks to a loss in translation, when he asserted that numerous players in the Middle East are dissatisfied. The Saudi Pro League has faced scrutiny due to their assertive strategy in the transfer window, which resulted in the acquisition of several prominent players from the Premier League and Europe. These players joined Cristiano Ronaldo, who was one of the pioneers to relocate to the region.
Laporte was a prominent player who joined the movement in Saudi Arabia as one of the highly anticipated acquisitions. Joining the Spanish international were notable players such as Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, and the Liverpool combo of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
